Our aim is to,

...develop the theoretical, conceptual and methodological basis for health services research and to contribute to an evidence-based improvement of health care.

Our research

Our teaching

We offer a number of different courses in the study programmes Public Health/ Health Sciences (BA and MA) at the Faculty of Human and Health Sciences (Faculty 11). We supervise bachelor and master theses as well as doctoral dissertations.   

Our focus areas

Evidence-based health care:
A good health care system offers appropriate solutions for the needs and aims of many different people. Not every health intervention that appears reasonable leads to the desired effects. [more...]
